Which style of interface do you prefer for OpenADE?

If "Other", what would you recommend?

 I think the WS interfaces should support both SOAP and REST implementations. 

What factors contribute the most to your preference?
Developers or industry stakeholders should be given the choice of use between two widely used WS interfaces (SOAP and REST). Both have their pros and cons and if an implementation framework is built that is independent of implementation specifics (e.g., security vs. richness of information, etc.), it would be better.

We encountered a similar situation and offered support to both SOAP and REST interfaces in OpenADR version 1.0 specification (http://drrc.lbl.gov/openadr/pdf/cec-500-2009-063.pdf) with details on those supported and not supported.
