Aaron F. Snyder obtained his Bachelor’s and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, and his DEA and Doctorat from the Grenoble National Polytechnic Institute in Grenoble, France. He is a Prinicipal Consultant and Deputy Director-Smart Grid Labs for EnerNex in Knoxville, Tennessee, and solves smart grid and advanced metering problems for numerous clients. He is the deputy project manager for the NIST SGIP Administrator and the technical champion for five of the seventeen SGIP priority action plans. He was recently elected to the Executive Committee of the UCA International Users Group, and chairs and participates in numerous metering standards development activities at national and international levels. He is a Senior Member of IEEE.
