OPENSG USERS GROUP MEETING:
Accelerating the Smart Grid
May 3 - 6, 2010 >> Washington DC Area
The OpenSG User Group (OpenSGug) was formed for users to get information on the progress of the Open Smart Grid (OSG) issues and to share their project experiences. The user group holds four face-to-face meetings each year. Recognized experts share their insights and resolve key technical issues. Each meeting also includes pre-conference "boot-camp" and social networking opportunities.
Who Should Attend
Utilities that are using standards-based integration to meet their business challenges will find this conference invaluable. Project managers, system architects, business and IT managers, and control center personnel will all benefit from this meeting.
The meeting is open to all current or potential OpenSG users – you do not have to be a OpenSGug member to attend. Attendees gain firsthand access to OSG experts and come away with new insights on the power of OSG activities.
Location & Dates
The OpenSG Users Group Meeting will be held on May 3-6, 2010 at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner in McClean, VA. The meeting will start on Monday, May 3rd with an OSG "bootcamp" - a pre-conference OSG tutorial. We strongly encourage those who are new to the organization to attend the Boot Camp sessions held on Monday afternoon. The sessions on May 4 – 6 are dedicated to producing work and will not cover historical information.
