Due to high demand from our membership, we are now finally changing the structure of the meetings so that we can be much more productive and effective during our face-to-face sessions.
Key changes include dedicating Monday to educational sessions about our task groups, where we will answer all administrative questions as well as general education about the activities to date. Also, we will kick-off the meetings and end the meetings with a Plenary Session wherein the leadership can provide you an outline of plans, challenges and results. The rest of the week is dedicated to work sessions, allowing us to maximize our time together and making us even more productive.
Another important change is that due to your increasing interest in the OpenSG activities we have outgrown the ability to leverage benevolent hosts and will be using the more traditional hotel/conference meeting facilities for meetings in the future starting with this one. With this change, it is imperative that a meeting fee be charged to cover the costs related to those facilities. We are exploring extremely dynamic and flexible options but for this time there will be a flat fee of $125.00 per attendee. Any additional charges will be picked up by the UCAIug.
The registration fee includes: breakfast and lunch (Tues., Wed, and Thurs.), admission to three evening receptions, transportation to and from reception sites, adequate logistical support (free Wi-Fi in meeting rooms, power strips, etc.).
Currently, there is a block of 75 rooms available at the Airport Hilton for attendees. This number can be modified, however, best to register early to ensure your room availability.
